"The Learn and Build Experience is an opportunity for a diverse group of students ages 16 to 18 to contribute to Habitat for Humanity's mission of eliminating poverty housing.  Through the Learn and Build Experience, individual youth come together as a team to build with Habitat in a community outside of their area. In addition to building, students will take part in various hands-on educational and community activities to better understand poverty issues and how Habitat serves families and communities around the world."

The program is taking place this summer in the U.S. and abroad in the following locations:

*Washington, D.C.

*Milwaukee, Wisconson

*Saline County, Arkansas

*Forsyth County, North Carolina

*Trinidad and Tobago

*Mozambique

Mark your calendar! The deadline to apply is March 1, 2013.  Visit Habitat International's website to find more information and to apply for a trip!

Happy travels! :)
